Online Sketchbook Prompt Six
Kathleen Bronseca What is going on in this photograph? Tell us in story format.
im not really sure whats going on in the image, it looks extremly candid. the woman apppears to be confused, or troubled. and the man, maybe her brother or boyfriend is leading her in the right direction.
A photograher is on the street, wanting to take their picture. Like most women, this particular one doesn't want her picture taken but the man with her is trying to get her to do it anyway.
I don't think that this was going to be a posed image. I think that the photographer totally took them, or at least the girl by surprise because the guy looks like he knew it was coming. It's weird how the guy is holding the girls arm and has one hand placed on her shoulder though.
This image looks like it was on a street and the photographer just wanted the couples image. I'm sure the woman was not paying attention, for her attention was somewhere else as the man, whoever he may be, is trying to get her to turn towards the camera for the picture.
This image gives me like 50 different story lines in my head.
But what i was thinking was that maybe the girl is pregnant and her brother (or boyfriend), is trying to lead her around a new and unfamiliar town. Maybe her parents kicked her out of her house due to the "false" pregnancy.
The girl looks pregnant because of her shirt and she makes it seem like the place she's in is really strange and new because of her facial expression while as the guy holding her arms might be laughing because of how lost she seems.
This is very strange. i cant really tell what is going on in this photo. The girl looks completely clueless as to what shes doing and where she is. The guy on the otherhand, whomever he is in relation to her, seems to be guiding her, and unlike her, he has that friendly smile upon his face that makes me believe hes familiar with their environment, and he knows where hes going.
20 ideas burst into my brain like a star going supernova. The one that seems right to me is that the woman is going to turn somewher but is being corrected by her boyfriend or brother.
To me, it seems like the guy is holding the girl back, Not just physically but maybe mentally too. Shes pregnant but maybe she still wants to do some of the things she used to do but her boyfriend or husband is keeping her from doing those things to ensure her safety.
UUUuuuummmmmmm.....Yeeaaahh..... This promp is really boring, but yeah. I guess i would have to say that this picture is taken by a amerature, like a 7 year old or something because it looks like someone tried to take their first or second picture and the guy was up for it, but the girl wasnt. She must have been either embarrassed by the fact that she's obesely pregnant, or the fact that, that thing that's holding her arm is her lover.

It looks like some random person on the street was like hey can I take your picture but only the guy heard and stopped and the girl kept walking and the guy is like trying to stop her. Or it could be that the girl and guy are going to the doctor and shes looking for the right building.
I am not really quite sure as to what is going on in this picture either. I am very perplexed because as much as I am into taking random shots I don't really like this one. In my honest opinion it is very boring and there is not much going on at all, this is very boring and there is not much else to say
A couple is walking down the street for a photographer who is taking pictures for a newspaper series called "pregnant teens". As theyre walking the girl decides that she has had enough of this photographer just been taking pictures of her and not caring about her feelings. She decides to leave but her boyfriend who doesnt have a job at the moment thinks of all the money theyll be getting for this and pulls her back. The guy in the back comes running back after overhearing and tells the photographer he can pose as a pregnant teen for some cornbread.
The photographer sees something that he or she likes about the couple. He asks to take their picture and like most girls, she doesn't want her picture taken, but her companion wants her picture taken. Thus, he holds onto her, while she is trying to leave the camera's lens.
The girl is pregnant and the father, perhaps her boyfriend, is taking her out for a night on the streets. The picture looks like it was randomly taken, a candid photograph.

IM NOT 100% SURE WHAT IS GOING ON, BUT ALL I KNOW IS THAT THE LADY IS PREGNANT AND IT SEEMS AS IF THE GUY IS HELPING HER WALK AROUND SOMEWHERE
