Well i just want to start off by saying, good job miss cress. good photos as usual.

But these photos make me feel sad and concerned. it looks as if there was a fire or something. Im not sure what happened to those houses but it definitely gets me wondering.

Really great quality! Like crystal clear. Seeing them all together like that though makes me feel unsicure. Like Hurricane Katrina is going to come back just to finish me off! Hahaha. But no seriously, it looks like it's been through a preety bad storm or people really just didnt like those people. They must have been bad neighbors.

It really makes me wonder though. What did the house look like before all the earthquakes in the world decided to double up on it?!?!?

i really like these images. these image tell a story, like at the begining the image is "normal," like nothing is really going on, just the details of the house, then there are some plants/branches that enter the story, finally there there is some distruction, how it got there is questinable.
overall i really like the series. nice work miss cress! fabulous...

When I look at your images I think mostly about a story line involving a place that was a lie from the outside. The greenery makes this place seem more like its in livable conditions but on the inside it may have been this really inhabitable place for someone. Someone abused, alone, scared, etc. I think of this because of how there's no windows. just window outlines. Maybe this was an escape route for someone.

These images make me feel like i need to do something to help all them people who go through suffering of any kind. Like, hurricans, unwanted pregnancy, cutting, poverty, etc.

I like these photos. I want to know more about this house, like when was it built and what happened to it? Did someone just leave it or was it in a bad storm a long time ago? It kind of makes me feel sad because it looks like someone abandoned it. It reminds me of the house I took photos of for my digital movie poster last year.

My thoughts are "wow" I mean whatever happened to this house must have been destructive. I mean if it was not weather then the years have reall take a toll on it because it looks like at one point that it could have been a cool house. The shots that you took mis cress really get through the viewer, I mean if they don't then that is one shallow viewer

hm.. these pictures are pretty sweet. and also pretty upsetting. i don't know when or where you took these, but it reminds me of all the destruction that happened because of the storms a few weeks ago.

it does really get you wondering though.

i really like these. its like a big contrast cause its all sunny and beautiful outside which makes it all happy but then the houses are like destroyed and destruction to me represents like anger. these photos also remind me of hurricane katrina cause ive seen pictures of houses that looked like this after the storm.

I hope im not late.
Im gonna be brutally honest with you on this one Ms. Cress, dont hurt me. To me personally these just look like snapshots, you know I have really high standards and I probably wouldnt have done any better but they dont look very thought out compositionally and stuff. Unless your plan was to ONLY show like a documentary of a place nothing else. In that case the pictures are adequate, they show the conditions of the building well and make you think if someone lives there, if someone does than it makes you a little sad unless you have no soul. Sorry Ms. Cress, its gonna be awkard seeing each other in class tommorow ;]

Norbert, I am extremely impressed and pround of your honesty. Please remember that if anyone is asking for your input, it means that they want a sincere responce. Your thoughts are right on track with my mind sight during the time of shooting. In this case, I was "documenting" a scene. Later in the year, I will show you a body of work that coincides with these images. These photographs are just one component of an entire series of images that maintains a commentary on the "forgotten" and "lost." You, and your fellow classmates are truly growing in your critiquing skills.

these photos are all really good, i like the one with the tree branches in them they pop out with the white house. i also really like the last one the house is very misterious and makes me think the house can be somewhat haunted

If those walls could talk, I wonder what they'd say.

The quality of these images are great. The angles are very nice as well as creative. Because of the components of these images, my first thoughts while looking are of wondering what happened to the house. It looks like it was abondoned because it's falling apart. Overall, the images are great and give a very erie vibe.

Hmmm... these pictures are nice, but I don't really find anything special about them. the bordered up windows and the beat up siding makes me feel like Im in a "troubled" neighborhood, whether it be from a weather disaster, or the general neighborhood isnt very high maintanance.

I wanna know what happened to that house. All that runs through my mind while looking at them is all the possibilities of what could have caused th destruction.
