This online blog has been created to enhance the communication between students during the artmaking process. While working on a photographic work and upon completion, students will post their images and wait for comments from their fellow peers, teacher, and other registered users. This blog will also be used as a venue to discuss historical and contemporary works by artists from around the world.

Danny Goldfield, the artist featured in this video, will be reading the comments you leave about his work. After taking a look at the video, take some time to look at his website:

I think the concept of Danny Goldfield's work is fascinating.
I love his idea of photographing a child from every country. It shows so much diversity we truly have in the United States. New York City is really the "one city connected to the whole world."
I hope one day he achieves his dream and gets all the families together in a museum or something like that. It could eliminate a lot of the racial issues we have in the world.
This is such an awesome project! It shows just how much of a melting pot America is. It would be amazing if his dream of having all the families meet one day happened for real. It could show people that just because you don't have the same background as someone else doesnt mean that you don't have anything in common. He definitely should get all the children together for photos. This could be the eye opener for everyone that it doesn't matter what color your skin is, or where you were born, that everyone has something in common if they just take the time to get to know the person. This could help set an example for everyone to let go of the prejudice in the world.
Danny Goldfield's work is extraordinary. His ideas are so unique and very intriguing...especially his idea of photographing a child from every country. It reminds me of how diverse the U.S really is. It takes you out of you own environment and exposes you to the whole world, like opening a door to the outside. =)
I love the idea of photographing children of different herritages. In a big city like New York City, you do find a lot of people from different countries, you just don't know it. The New York Children project is one way of saying, "There are different herritages, and races in one city."
Also, the families will be able to see that they aren't alone in a big city.
I think this project is a great way to show people that america is a land filled with many races and nationality's. I give kudos to Goldfield for doing this project.
I thought it was a great video, with many children and families in the world. It shows the many diversity of different poeple that live here.He wants you to know that there are many different races living in one place. I think his work is great!
I liked this video because it showed many different people from all over. It reminds you of how many cultures there are and gives you an open mind
It's really interesting what this guy does. I love taking pictures myself of kids and childeren. I always take pictures of my 3 and 10 year old cousins because I just love working and taking pictures of kids. I would never go around the country though like he did. I hate meeting new people, so i give him props for that. It's a really cool thing that this Danny guy wants to bring some people together from all around the world through photography.
That's an ambitious project. It's such a cool idea though. I find it hard to believe that there will be someone from every African country here. Every other country seems plausible, but for some reason, I think he'll have trouble with Africa.
