Online Sketchbook Prompt Fourteen: Modest Mouse Missed the Boat video contest

How do you think this music video was created? If you were to create a music video in a similar fashion, what song would you use. What type of imagery would appropriately illustrate that song?

This was created by using stop action images. I know this because you just told us =]

if i were to make a video simliar to the one i jsut watched...i think i would use a song from gym class heroes..."good vibrations."

i think images of people dancing and smiling would be the most appropriate.

This video was created by using stop action with a camera. =]

If I were to create a video like this I would most like take a trip downtown for the day and take a ton of stop action pictures of everything outside. like the streets, buildings, cars, clouds...everything. The song I would choose is How Far We've Come by Matchbox 20. It's very positive and goes along with the city. =)

I think it was created using various pictures put together and edited on the computer. They probably did use stop action like everyone else mentioned to create this too. I liek Modest Mouse lol. Hmm If I were to use a song it would be 'Ling' by Alan Ke You Lun. It would be a bunch of pictures of people being sad and then having the courage to move on in life, then people would be walking on the streets holding a diff sign or something.

One word................... PHOTOSHOP(a.k.a. my worst enemy.)! And I dont know what I would use to make a music video similar to this. It looks really messy and everything was everywhere to me. Wwwaaaayyyyyy to confusing.

A lot of stop action. And probably some of it was made from a video camera that was put together in Windows Movie Marker.

Song that I would use would probably be Hanging By a Moment by Lifehouse.

The type of imagry I would use would probably be something that relates to the song's lyrics and what they are trying to say. But, it'll also have some humor in it.

The cool roads with the light streaks is stop action and the posters look like different pictures put together to make it look like the person is moving.

If I was going to create a video similar to this I would pick the song “Days Go By” by Keith Urban. Images I would use for it would be of people having the time of their lives.

Apparently this video was used using stop action images...
Again, this music thing is tough. There are so many songs to choose from. I think I would use the song "Nickels and Dimes" by Social D and take a picture for each line of the song. It's a fun song and it would make a fun viedo I think.

This video was made using stop action.

If i were to create a similar video I would use the song "Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition" by Serj tankian.

This song is a huge anti-war song, so i would use images and videos of war times.

So i guess this was made by using stop action imaging.

i would use "piece of me" by britney spears. i would use various images of people who have been through alot and how everyone judges them.
