If you were to create a similar video using song and imagery, what would be your inspiration? What song would use? What photographic images would you use?

hmm do i sense an upcoming project ms cress?

anyway this video would be my inspiration, hands down. I love it.

Im thinking that i would probably use the song "The Way I am" by Ingrid Michaelson. It is a pretty short song, but its my favorite song.

Lyrics:
If you were falling, then I would catch you.
You need a light, I'd find a match.

Cuz I love the way you say good morning.
And you take me the way I am.

If you are chilly, here take my sweater.
Your head is aching, I'll make it better.

Cuz I love the way you call me baby.
And you take me the way I am.

I'd buy you Rogaine if you start losing all your hair.
Sew on patches to all you tear.

Cuz I love you more than I could ever promise.
And you take me the way I am.
You take me the way I am.
You take me the way I am.

I would take various images to illustrate each word or phrase.
For example, when she says chilly, i would try to take an picture of snowy weather and then a picture of a sweater.

My inspiration would be one of my favorite videos. Though, I wouldn't use anime characters. I would use the song Everything You Want by Veritcal Horizon.

The photographs that I would use would be of two of my friends. He wants her and yet he can't have her.

My inspiration would be from seeing the lives of other people in everyday life. Their joys, worries, and fears. I would use the song "Mad World" by Michael Andrews and Gary Jules. It is a short, extremely powerful song that gets its point across that we live in a messed up world.

The images I would use are the images of people in everyday life.

I did something like this somewhat last year, but it was for histoy. Anyway, I really liked the video. If I were to create something similar I would probably do something uplifting, telling whoever is watching, that every problem has a solution and that things will be okay, if something is wrong. The song I would pick is by Angels and Airwaves- Everything's Magic and of course, i would have pretty positive and happy images like people smiling, having fun and my images would be in color. =)

my inspiration would be my cousin who passed away at 16 like 10 years ago.

id probably use the song "lighthouse" by Hope.
Some images i would use is like pictures from birthday parties and brothers and sisters having fun as kids and swing sets.
it might not make a lot of sense to other people but it definetly would make sense to my family.

My inspiration would be all my little couins that my family has had for the past 3 years. My song would be "Someday" by rite before she turned into a royal mess Britney Spears. My pictures would be of women who have pregnant stomachs and women with their young ones playing or something. It would be of kids getting into messes, trouble, and new friendhips. My cousins would be the pictures. Omg Ms Cress! You should so make this a project.

I would use the song "Taking Chances" by Celine Dion. I love that song! The photos that I would use in the video would be ones that show people doing what they think is right even if someone else doesn't. Photos that show people who love each other but maybe society doesn't agree with it. (two guys/girls together, or even two people of different backgrounds.)

Man...this is tough. There are so many songs that inspire me. I think based on my current mood (I just read an article online about a somewhat malicious, racist act) I would chose the song "Racist Society" by Screeching Weasel. The title may lead you to think the song is just about racism, but it is also about government and advertising and how they have a big impact on how people live and think. I would use images of different races. For some of the pictures I would have them interacting nicely with each other and for others I would have them glaring at each other to show their hatred. The images would show how some people see past skin color and some still feel they are superior. I know some people with nazi/kkk/racism tattos, and I would take pictures of those. For the advertising part, I would make dyptychs of an ad and a person using the ad. As for the government part of the song...I need to think a little bit more.
