Billboard Design Four

Zach, Marissa, Lauren, Nancy

What are your thoughts when you look at this billboard design? What is the subject matter, and how does it apply to the overall message of the design. What are the design's strengths? What are the design's weaknesses?

Creepy is the first thing that comes to mind when I look at this picture. I never realized that when you took a picture, a arm popped out of the lens and stole a liitle part of the subjects soul. But all jokes aside, very original piece. I really enjoy looking at this design because it is goofy and just plain awesome. I like how the saying is pursuasive and describes the billboard.

I like this alot. I love how the arm is coming out of the camera. it catches my eye and it goes along with the slogan. very good, kudos to you guys.

I really like this billboard design! I think they did a really great job! I love how they took a more humorous way of showing how to capture subject matter. Putting the word "Capture" in red and italics really ties in the slogan to the billboard image. The only thing I dont like is how the subject matter looks like they are just floating there.

this billboard is really interesting, to say the least. the subject matter is the group of people (norbert, adrianna, kt, zach). i like the unique-ness of the billboard. it took very creative minds to put this together, and lots of photoshop skill. good job!

The slogan is catchy and the images are interesting, but the brick background is very overpowering. I think if the subjects themselves were bigger, they could balance out the background.

I think that out of all the billboard's, this one is the most creative. It's rite to the point with the words and the picture itself. The hand coming out of the camera to catch them was a great idea by trying to get the message through to people, to join photography. The only thing I would of changed is the bacground of your billboard, because it kinda take's away the point of the other images on it.

My thoughts when I look at this billboard design are, "wow, this poster is actually really creative and very well thought out". The subject matter is the camera realistically capturing the moment with it's shutter but in this case Zach symbolizes this action as the something reaching out of the camera and actually trying to physically capture the moment. The streangths are very well thought out design, and great poses by the "crew". The only weakness that I can think of is maybe a little better cropping on the arm's sleeve. But if that is all then I would say that this is a very successful billboard.

reminds me of the hunger commercials/ads in magazines. i love it! its very creative and eye catching. the subject matter is the camera and the arm coming from it, resembling "capturing the moment". strength; everything. :)
weakness; the phrase appearance could have been slightly better, but either way, it looks good as it is.

I thought ours was funny, I know Zach did most of the work so I feel bad for not really getting involved with it. It still looks great though!

I love this billboard. It's so rite to the point and easy to look at. Very cut and dry. Really goes with the phrase perfectly. Great job!
