The image gives me an erie feeling. Knowing that many Asain countries are communist/dictatorship, I feel this image represents how this man has his identity given to him. I don't know what this symbol actually means, but I'm gonna guess it describes him, and based on his facial expression, I'm going to say that's not really him and he's not too thrilled about being labelled.

To me this image is what people do when they look at different people. Everyone is always labeling people as something at first glance before they really get to know the person. I think this photo is unique though because the symbol most likely means something special to this person.

this picture is really cool, it remings me of a picture i saw where there was a guy wearing black and shie by a crosswalk in the city, it was interesting, the man seems almost emotionless, i wish i knew what the writing ment

i think the symbol painted on this man means something in his culture and this symbol probably has something to do with this man.

This image makes me feel as if the subject is restricted or as if he's fighting for freedom of some sort. The red paint on his chest is a unique symbol, and to me, it means that it's important to him and is what he believes.

When i look at this image i don't feel any emotions. To me it represents the person in the photo's culture and ethinicity. It sort of represents him.

The emotions that this work of art provokes is like a "stuck" feeling. Like the letter or symbol that is painted on the man is who he is as a person and he's held to it.

Since symbols in certain languages mean a whole word...i would think that the word that this symbol is demonstrating is describing the person as a whole. It represents being who you are and sticking to it.

This photograph is waaaay unique! its different from just any old photo of an object. Like, the red paint stands out a lot because its actually painted ONTO a person which kind of gives the photo a 3-dimensional impact.

The emotions that i feel when looking at this image are sadness, betrayal, and deceit. The tattoo across the man's body is some type of asian symbol that I can not make out, but, with the serious expression that he has on his face I think that this symbol signifies him as a betrayer, deserter, of terrorist. Yes, i think that this photograph is unique because it shows one person and a signification that the symbol makes of the person.

To me this picture says who he is representing and who he is. He is showing that he is proud of himself, nationality, and is country. The symbol probably stands for proud and strong.

This image gives me the chills. In the model's expression and overall feel of the picture, there seems to be a lot of expectation and pressure. This seems quite unique, as I have never seen anything like it before, although, that's not saying much.

I think this photograph is like super duper unique because... well.. just look at it. It's so cool the way they just stuck his chinese self rite in there. And blending in an all that stuff. It looks like a tatoo someone would have on them eventhough that person probably isnt even japanese or chinese. I hate when people do that, they look so dumb, like HHHEEELLLOOOO!!! Ur white! You Dont Need A Jap. Stamp!
