Online Sketchbook Prompt Thirty-Four
Ryan Shude, Photo Essay - Tableau, 2008
Take a look at the photo essay work of Ryan Shude. What are your reactions to this imagery. Which image stands out the most to you? Why is that image so appealing to you?
My favorite photo by Ryan Shude is called "The Saturn." But, since it's not here, I'd have to say I like the top image the best. At first glance it looks very simple, but further inspection shows there is A LOT happening. Much like most neighborhoods, there is more than meets the eye.
my favorite picture is the second one where theyre all outside by a trailer. i like it cuz there is a lot going on and most of the things theyre doing are really random. the kid in the window is the best :]
i really like these images and how most of them sort of have a spot focus with the lighting. my favorite picture is the third one of the zombies attacking the girl becuase the guy in frint look like the director of the movie so it looks like a portrait of him.
these photos remind me of a professional photo shoot. i like how there is so much going on, yet you still seem to get the message of what youre supposed to be focusing on in the photo.
