Well for this one, it is obvious that the colors projected make it a strong visual.Especifically the eyes, they are a hazel-ish green and go well with the red hood.I think the photographer could have used someone older for this image though, it just seems more appropriate.
The girls eyes are beautiful, and they capture the light very well. The lighting position and her eyes and skin help to make this photo a very interesting composition. Also, i see a story behind her eyes!
i think this image is strong because it has really good contrast. her face is glowing and her eyes are very bright so it stands out from the black background

The composition, as well as the color usage, make this a strong image. The colors evoke meaning, and the composition strengthens that meaning.
