Turn Me Over, Chad Foreman, 2008Where do you think this photograph was taken? Do you consider this an art piece? Why or why not?
This online blog has been created to enhance the communication between students during the artmaking process. While working on a photographic work and upon completion, students will post their images and wait for comments from their fellow peers, teacher, and other registered users. This blog will also be used as a venue to discuss historical and contemporary works by artists from around the world.

This photograph looks like it was taken in the Arizona/California area. I think I would consider this an art piece because it makes me want to know why this old VW van is just laying there on its side. I want to know how it got to this position and who was there when it happened and what went on at the time.
This appears as if it were taken in a desert-like wasteland area. If it were part of a documentary series, it definitely would fit in as a piece of art.
This photo looks like it was taken in the middle of nowhere. Im not exactly sure what it is, but it kind of looks like an old broken down van that was tipped over. It is definitely a piece of art because its original and different then anything you would normally see. it also keeps the viewer interested.
I think this photo was taken in the Arizona or New Mexico, wasteland area. I think it is an art piece because it makes me want to know what happened to this old van. its match with the background. i think its awesome photo.
Obviously this image was taken in a desert or somewhere like one. I dont know if this picture would be considered art work because what people are calling art work these days. its hard to say. I hate this picture so I guess I would have to say no, this so isnt art work material at all. It's Just a rotted bus. I dont find it interesting at all but for the fact it's like out of no where. Kinda randome.
It was probably taken in a desert like area. I would not consider this picture 'art' because anyone could have taken a picture of a broken down van in the middle of nowhere.I don't believe there is a meaning behind it at all.
I think that this photo was taken in the middle of a desert, maybe in Arizona. I would say that this is an art because i believe that anything can be an art if someone created it.
i think this photo was taken in like a desert in arizona or something. i do consider this an art piece because the broken down old rusty car kind of represents the abandoned desert
This photo must have been shot in a very desolate, quiet wasteland. This photo is artistic depending on what it is being used for.
this picture was probally taken in the desert. i guess this is considered art to some people and other people will just think its a picture of a tipped over van or whatever it is..
it looks like and abandoned car in the desert, yes this is a great art piece
I think that this was taken in the middle of no where like a junk yard. I do thing that this picture is art. i think that everything is art when you put it into your own thoughts.
i believe this picture was taken where it's very dry and desert-like. i consider this a piece of art because there's meaning behind it. there has to be a reason that the photographer took a photo of this van. it makes the viewer, or me at least, curious.
the middle of a desert...
and yes because the lighting would have to be just right so it would hit off the windshield and the car in general.. and the angle was clearly staged. and practiced.
