Tell me about your summer. Where did you go? What did you do?
What goals do you have for yourself this year in photography? What type of projects would you like to explore? What techniques would you like to work on? What steps will you take to grow as a photographer?

Well, my summer was good. In June my family and I went to Oklahoma to visit family. Then in July we went to San Diego to visit more family, and then drove to Las Vegas to celebrate my brother's and his friend's 21st birthdays and my parents 30th wedding anniversary.
My goals this year for photography are to be more creative with my photos, and to get better at using Photoshop.

My summer was pretty fun. Basically, my daily routine was wake up at 6 in the morning, golf with my friend Garrett Eddy, then go hang out with friends until about 11 at night, then repeated it like everyday. I had band practice every other day with my friends Mike and Danny. I also went to Michigan a few times throughout the summer. Other than that, nothing else really.
My goals for photography are to actually take creative pictures, that actually turn out, get better with photoshop, and learn more about photography in great detail, more than last year.

During the summer I went to Japan with my Japanese class. We were there from June 5-June 25. We went to a few different cities, including Tokyo, Hiroshima, Okuizumo, and Kyoto. In Okuizumo we did homestays. I stayed with two very nice families; the Ozaki family and the Kobayashi family. I saw a lot of really cool things in Japan, like the Golden Pavillion, and the Atomic Dome. I've kept in touch with my second host sister, Luna, but not anyone from my first family. Other than going to Japan, I didnt do anything exciting over the summer. I DID apply to the Illinois Institute of Art in Schaumburg...and I just got my acceptance letter on Saturday. So yay. I also worked a lot over the summer. Thats really about it.
My goals for this year in photography are to have stronger prints, and I want to learn to use the computer to enhance my digital photography better. I want this class to help prepare me for my college career.
Hmm...its not showing my real name...This is Ashley Gabrys. I guess I'll make a different account later so it'll show my name.
This summer i went to six falgs and two concerts. I also went to the mall and to the movies.
My goals this year in photography are to get all my projects done on time and to get an A in the class.
This summer i jsut hung out with friends went to six flags, the mall, and just hanging around everywhere.
My goals this year are to start being more on time to class. Also to take a better image, and i'm really looking forward to working on the computer again.

Well, my summer was pretty fun. I didn't do anything special but I can say i enjoyed the few weeks of vacation. I worked, hang out with my friends and the family, and all the stuff that most of the people usually do. What I want to accomplish this year in Photo 3-4 is that maybe I could learn some new techniques of taking images. Also, I will try to spend as much time as I can my editing photos and designing things in Photoshop. As Ms. Cress says I am addicted to it. I am looking forward to all the project that she has prepared for us.

The only place that I really left streamwood was when I went to Wisconsin Dells! I go every summer with my family, It was ssooo fun! Sssoo many water rides and go-karting! AWSOME! My goals are just not to be left behind! I always end up behind, idk how! I just want projects that involve me in the dark room. I need to learn to work photoshop alot more! Idk what steps to take, Im just going to play it by ear! WING IT!
my summer was great i saw a lot of my favorite bands and i went to the city a lot.a got a job and hun out with my boyfriend everyday.my oal in photo this year is to actually do every project
My summer was AMAZING i think its one of the best ones ive had in a LONG time. I hung out with friends a lot and also went to tenneesee to visit my sister. This year in photography i would like to grow as an artist and try new things. I want to explore more with photoshop. To grow more as a photographer i will love to explore more with diffrent types of ideas and things
During summer I was busy doing football and working. I went to Wisconsin Dells once it was fun.
This year i want to make the best quality prints ive every developed. and i cant wait to do digital and video stuff.
I didn't really go anywhere over the summer but I did end up doing a lot! I had a lot of summer homework but unfortunately I decided to start on that a little bit later than I should have.
The goals I hold for myself in photography this year is to simply stay on task and reach due dates since I struggled with that last year. I don't want other classes to win over more attention than photography because it's just as important to me. I'm not sure what kind of projects I want to work on because I dont know what else there is. I'm really interested in telling a story within a series of about 10 photos though.
