While working on a photographic work and upon completion, students will post their images and wait for comments from their fellow peers, teacher, and other registered users. This blog will also be used as a venue to discuss historical and contemporary works by artists from around the world.

Online Sketchbook Prompt Five
Take a look at the unique work of Sandy Skoglund. What are your immediate thoughts looking at her images? How do you think her images were made? What do these images represent to you?
Wow, i really like the idea with the colors. It's really interesting. I think she obviously used some sort of photoshop and editing, but i really like how she put almost opposite colors and put them together in weird forms. It's really cool.

My immidiate thaughts are how eerie these images are. They seem so science fiction. i think her images are made with combining a few colored statues into a regular photograph and then just adding the vibrant color. these images represent dreaming, and creative expression. ohh WOW! those images look awesome. I love the way the color is used to make those animals in the center of the viewer's attention. The author of this image probably used pgotoshop to manipulate the color and make it look so interesting. It looks awesome!!
i like how she had this idea for an images. im guessing she used a photoshop to make the image look that way it did. the colors she used and taht way the picture was out togtehr was very intresting.

When i look at these images i feel like im in a weird world. The colors are extravagent and bright. I think the images are made and modified in photoshop OR theyre sculptures that have been painted and modified with color

i really like this work theres so much going on but you can see everything perfect because of the extreme contrast its very interesting

I like the fun idea of the pictures. I like how the different colors of the scene and cats make the picture more amusing to the eye.
My immidate thoughts are why are the aminals colored. I think that her images were made using photoshop.
The colors are crazy, and every picture has multiple amounts of the same animal.
