I think these images are very powerful. They show tons of emotion, and they strike the viewer as sad and depressing pictures. I really like how the artist did that.

these images are powerful becuse the children in the pictures are the main focus and theres nothing else that takes away from what your seeing it just shows sad children, which is what the artist is trying to show

I find these images to be be very powerful becuase poor children tend to make most people very uneasy. what makes these such strong compositions is how the photographer captures the children's emotion. i can relate to the one with the two girls playing becuase i have seen children making games out of nothing just to have some scourt of amusement.

I do find these images to be powerful, especially the first one. I like how it focuses on the little girls facial expression. It also makes me wonder who is holding her there. These are strong because they each make the viewer feel a strong emotion. I feel a personal connection with the third image. It looks like the older girl is dressing up the younger girl. That reminds me of me and my sister when we were younger.

I think these images are powerful because of how well they capture the depression and hopelessness of the children. They show how hard some kids have it, and it's very sad to see children in that state.

These images are powerful because of the way she made you feel when you looked at the children, you feel sad and you just want to help them.

I think this picture is powerful because of the seriousness of the picture. The thing i like most about these pictures are the contrast. The difference between the light and darkness make an impact on the subject of the picture. The one i feel a most connection with is the one with the boy because theres not a meaning or story behind it. It is what it is.

These images show a lot of emotion. Plus since they are in black and white so it makes the effect more greater.

These images are extremly powerful. There is high composition. The images remind me of images taken during the 1930s in Depression. The faces of the people/kids are very strong and powerful, like theyre staring at you and judging me.
