This online blog has been created to enhance the communication between students during the artmaking process. While working on a photographic work and upon completion, students will post their images and wait for comments from their fellow peers, teacher, and other registered users. This blog will also be used as a venue to discuss historical and contemporary works by artists from around the world.

My immediate responce is "that's me!" because i just automatically picture myself in those people's places. I wonder what each person in the picture is thinking at that moment. The work represents daily life to me. It also represents what happends to american children in their lives.

my immediate responce is that everything is dark and the pictures show that people do these things everyday.
I really like the lighting in these pictures. I like how they are not posed because it's just people going about their lives. It really makes you wonder about what the people are thinking.
My first reaction is how our society is. All of the situations are very everyday-like things we go through. The little girl who cant fall asleep and plays games in the dark. To the guy in the car with the light, maybe texting? I think light is important and thats what this is portraying.
I immediately notice the pitched black background and the contrasting light that illuminates the people in the photographs. After taking a closer look at the images, I noticed that the three children are in a trance by electronic devices. The fisrt girl is playing with an electronic video game. Although you cannot see it, based off the second girls stare, she must be watching a TV. The boy, again it cannot be seen but can be inferred, is using his cell phone. These photos represent a "plugged in" generation, a generation that is obsessed with their technology and act as though they would die without it.
My immediate response show a few characteristics. Loneliness, Darkness, Sadness. It reminds me of a person who would bave nobody, can't sleep at night, and likes to keep to themselves. Those images look very depressing.

When I look at the images I think of traveling. Driving through the night to get to some destination. It represents the times I've stayed up late being on the computer or reading.
My imidiate response is wow lighting is great!!!!! the thoughts that go through my head are mostly questions i have for the peole like what are doing that light is on them. Well what it represents is things that everyone does at some point in their lives.
